Grapes for this wine come from the Estate’s Garnacha parcels in the village of Venta del Moro, are grown on shallow chalky clay soil, poor in organic matter. Harvested by hand, the grapes are macerated in whole bunches in vats with lightly crushed grapes. The wine is then aged in cement tanks for ten months. With aromas of red fruits, pomegranate, hibiscus, fennel and blackberry, the Garnacha also has hint of garrigue. Balanced, juicy and appetising, it is Garnacha at its best.
