The Sicilian viticulture is unique in the world: diversified territories on the slopes of the mountains or near the sea, with vineyards located either few meters from the shoreline or at the bottom of a volcano.
The Gergenti selection offers two wines made from noble local grapes.
This Gergenti Organic Frappato, made by organically grown grapes, embodies the unique charm of Sicily. Red ruby colour. The aroma is fresh and fruity with a scent of blueberries and red berries. The grapes are hand-picked in early August. After the harvest, the grapes are left to be macerated with their skins for 6 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tank. After that the wine is aged in the bottle for another month.
